2024 Spring Registration is Open!
大家好，Dear all,
2024 spring semester class registration is ready for your review. Each student who enrolled in the fall semester has the same classes in the spring semester as we have copied them over for. If you have any questions, please contact council member Mia Zhang at mia.zhang@bohua.org instead of replying this email.
课外活动课更新 EC updates:
- New Kids and Youth Choir classes (孩子们的合唱团) : For students between 2nd to 10th grade at 1-1:50 pm. For students younger than 2nd grade, we will decide on a case-by-case basis. This choir will focus on learning and singing Chinese songs. It's a great opportunity to combine music with Chinese.
- Kung Fu class (功夫课）is returning: For students age 8 and up from 1 - 1:50 pm. Learn traditional Chinese martial arts from Shifu Howie.
- Youth Badminton class (少年羽毛球课）new section: Due to popular demand, we are pleased to announce the opening of a second youth badminton class from 4:00 - 4:50 pm. Please register if interested.
注册与付费 Registration adjustment and payment:
Please login to the registration website and follow the directions below to make adjustments if needed and complete the payment.
1. If you do not need to make any changes to registration, please pay the balance via credit card at your earliest convenience by Friday Jan 20, 2024.
2. If you need to make any changes to your registration, please drop/add courses by Friday, Jan 20, 2024. You will not be able to make changes after that date. Please note that no refund will be given after Friday, Jan 20.

Last semester, we offered complementary classes (Yoga, Square Dance and Choir) to adults in the community to gauge interest. Due to the cost of paying teachers, facility rent and other expenses, we are asking adults to register for these classes in the Spring semester. We are keeping the costs as low as $50 per class (average to $3 per class) if enough people enroll. So invite your friends and register at https://newsite.bohua.org (

Bohua Chinese School
Bohua Chinese School, founded in 1995, is a non-profit organization that promotes traditional Chinese culture and community spirits. Meeting regularly on Sundays, the school offers various programs in Chinese language, arts, and culture to school-age children and adults from Boulder and its surrounding areas. Currently, more than 250 students are enrolled in various classes.
For years, Bohua has served as a community center to families who are, in one way or another, linked through Chinese Culture in the large Boulder area. Through its CTC (Chinese Taught in Chinese) program, BoHua has helped many children of Chinese descent maintaining their heritage through exposure to Chinese language and culture. BoHua’s curriculum has also been helping families who have adopted children from China and hope they can be connected to their roots. BoHua also has a growing language program, CTE (Chinese Taught in English), which is aimed at teaching English-speaking people who are interested in learning Chinese.
BoHua acknowledges the support of various local communities and institutions. Particularly, we appreciate Southern Hills Middle School of BVSD for hosting BoHua Chinese School for several years.
