Bohua Chinese School Parent Volunteer Duties

Hallway Monitor Duties

✔  Two shifts available: 1pm – 3pm and 3pm to 5pm so please pick your shift and sign up on the Volunteer Signup Calendar accordingly.

✔  Parent volunteers check in with the volunteer coordinator (Jane Zheng) in the office Room 145 before your shift starts to get your assigned area.

✔  Wear the yellow vest (will be given out) during your shift representing Bohua and make sure the classroom zone is quite and in order, students do not run, chase or yell during the recess, students do not eat food in the classroom and pick up any trash after themselves.

✔  Ring the bell (will be given out) at 1:50pm, 2pm, 2:50pm, 3pm, 3:50pm during your shift. This is to remind the students to return back to the classroom and the teachers to dismiss the class on time.

✔  Report any emergency or incompliance cases to the office.

✔  After your shift, return back to the office to sign out and return the yellow vest and bell.
